Default Low Carb & Cholesterol - New Study

Puzzled by differences in ethnicity and cholesterol, researchers are finally finding out that carbs in the diet affect the cholesterol, and those cultures with lower carb diets showed higher levels of the good cholesterol.

Duh! Didn't we know this all along?

Our society has been programed to eat low/no fat and they have poo-pooed Atkins until its almost a no-no to eat low carb. But it is a healthier choice than the low fat diets. I feel so much better on low carb lifestyle. I think its balance, we need balance in all areas of our lives ... the low carb woe brings me balance ... sigh!:fork:

The powers that be know that low-carb works. However, because they held the WRONG position for so very long, they have to back into it gradually... otherwise they risk looking like fools. And worse.

LC is so much more mainstream today than it was back in 1998 when I started! The reason: for most people, carb-restricted diets work AND make you healthier (when done right).
