| There seems to be some support for reporting HbA1c's, using an average blood glucose level for the period in question. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/559262 I presume the idea is to reinforce to the patient that the score reported has to do with glucose levels and not really anything to do with hemoglobin, per se.
