My biggest problem with this idea is that it only takes care of the physical hunger. When they can come up with a pacemaker that takes care of emotional eating (which many of us know overrules the 'full' feeling), then I'll be interested.

Yet another way to escape personal responsibility for our condition. It may help folks lose weight, but it won't make them "healthier".

I think it's great. If this helps some people lose weight without the horrible risks inherent in gastric bypass surgery, then fantastic. And that has to be good for their health. I'm content with low-carbing, but for people that can't do it without driving themselves nuts, I think it's nice to have another option.

That having been said, I think there are better things in the pipeline. We're going to see some miraculous stuff in the next ten years.
