So, you diabetics out there, what do you think of this? Is this a good thing?

My sis was in this range and my bro convinced her that they were off their rocker and now she eats "normally" again instead of LC...

I guess you can probably see my opinion!

Blessings!

I've been above 100 before, and I have a family full of diabetics. It sounds like a sensible warning.

Sounds reasonable to me. The earlier the dx is made, the better, I'd think. The aggressive lifestyle changes may prevent the long term effects (or at least delay them). LC fits the bill for the diet side and exercise is easy enough to include a few times a week. I'm 43 and was diagnosed as insulin resistant and diabetic 2.5 years ago. My mom is taking insulin via injection 3-4 times a day. I am probably on the same road. If I can just POSTPONE that for a few years, I figure I come out a winner. Not to mention avoiding some of the other nasties like cardio and kidney problems by keeping my glucose levels stable .... oh, and shedding a few pounds too.

Life is NOT a dress rehearsal.
