Okay, I'm going to be watching that...

I've been hoping they would start a low-carb cooking series. I know this is just one show, but maybe it will give them ideas if they get high enough ratings.

Pass the word around on this one!

Hope you had the chance to catch this program.... Outstanding! Of course there were the obligatory disclaimer segments from the low fat doctors, but there was so much good information, success examples and recipes that those nay sayers didn't have much impact.

I thought it was good over all.
Dr. "this way of eating will kill you" was on my nerves. None of what he said was true! Eating saturated fat WITH carbs will cause heart desease and cancer, That has been proven. It hasn't been proven that a low carb saturated fat diet will cause anything! (well maybe weight loss and better health)

George Stella and his wife have a really neat website. He was the chef that lost 200 pounds.

I kept thinking as I was watching tonight, that the chefs looked familiar. I now know why, I've been to their website in the past. Thanks for posting that link, Jen.

Take care~

I loved it.

George made the show. He was great. He's also got the world's best "before" photo!

I hope Food Channel does some more low-carb shows, possibly with George. We should give Food Channel some feedback about how much we loved the show, so they'll feel encouraged to do more. They have a forum here: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/community

Jen,
Thanks for the link to George Stella web page. I did a quick search for him last night and didn't come up with anything.

Jen, I can't find that post of his. Can you paste the link to the post?

George did write this following post. He wants us to post our praise on the foodnetwork forum:

You guys are the best!
Thanks for the donations!
That really helps keep the site going!
Your posts have been great too, but it would be nice if some could post on Food Network message boards(I think you have to give an email )
as there aren't many posts there and there are a couple of neg ones. I welcome opinions, all opinions, but there are soooo many nice posts here and almost none on Fn.
Anyway....
Thanks for all your support and keep helping each other as that is a key to success!
See Ya!

Now we are getting it! Darn good support, low carb made easy, fun and interesting!

And all the recipes are ones we used to lose!
All original!
