| Hello Andrea, I chose to respond to you this way rather than privately because I thought it appropriate to defend myself and make any clarifications for all to see. You wrote, "I want to make it very clear that I don't condone or encourage the type of letter that you posted. I don't think that will get us anywhere, but labeled as fanatics." The email I wrote to her was private. I did not affiliate myself with this board when I sent it to her not did I mention I belonged to any board or organization. Whatever she may think of me personally should not affect what she thinks of anyone else who responded to the article, because my response was private and personal. In any case I have not nor would I ever make such strong opinions and associate myself with this board. My apologies for the misunderstanding,

| Write Girl, OK, well said, and fair enough. My concern was, however, that others would begin a "letter writing" campain of their own - AND associate themselves with this board. The very same thing happened on another low carb board of my acquaintance, with very unpleasant results. I appreciate your reply. I've made clear to the membership at large where I'm coming from, and so have you. Andrea |
