Hi, all! It's been awhile but I'm back with GREAT news! I went over my latest labs with my doctor last week and all numbers were fantastic, excluding LDL. I went off my cholesterol meds when I started this WOE because they were causing some muscle problems so I was worried my doctor would not be pleased with my numbers. What a pleasant surprise to find that my overall was 202 with a HDL of 60, 5-10 points HIGHER than her goal for me! She wasn't even too concerned about the rise in LDL because of the improvement of the other numbers and said that my new lifestyle would certainly bring the LDL in line eventually as well. My A1c stayed about the same (6.2) but my fasting BGL dropped 10-20 points from my norm. Blood pressure was great (I also discontinued one of my BP meds upon starting this WOE). AND, as for weight loss, she has one of those body fat scales that measure the different components of weight. I've lost 7 pounds of pure fat and gained muscle since the last time I weighed in with her! WHOOP! (That's an Aggie "Hooray" for those of you who don't know) Anyway, I guess I've proved to myself that this DOES do what the proponents say it does and I'm hooked! Thanks for listening!

Excellent Tracy! I had similar results also. great hdl (75) and a little elevated ldl (116) but my doctor also said the same as yours did about that. Keep up the good work!
