I was in charge of making a much-requested chocolate cake for a family get-together on Saturday. I knew it would be a challenge for me to not lick the bowl, beaters or spatula, because I adore chocolate. I passed the challenge with flying colors. I did have a smidge (like 1/8 of a tsp.) of the frosting to see if it needed more cocoa (it did), but not licking anything else and, of course, not having any at the party was a major, major success for me. I made some cheesecake muffins to take as my dessert. That is my little success for the week.

| That's a tough one, but bringing something you CAN eat instead is a MAJOR key in not feeling deprived!
