It's been a while but I've been stuck since January. Looks like a liver problem was brewing and crisis came 4/9/09. As little as I was able to eat during my illness I gained a few pounds...almost laughing at the doctors office when I was up 3 pounds.
My tissue was holding fluid and not sure what else but have had my first week of recouping and I'm now down 6 pounds from my last real weight loss.
While I was very sick everything tasted super salty or super sweet. That's resolved now and I'm slowly getting back to being able to eat.
My blood tests were all good except my liver numbers but they are coming back closer to normal range each week. A really bad virus that attacked my liver and blood platelets.
This illness is most likely what caused my stall in weight loss. The graph the doctor showed me on his computer shows it started in December and peaked in April when I actually got sick.
Looking forward to this way of eating the rest of my life and keeping the weight off.

Thanks Maggie... it knocked me for a loop but I'm feeling better every day. Think my hubby is going to take me to the beach for a weekend soon... I've felt the need to be near the ocean and I love picking up sea shells at daybreak.

A visit to the shore is good for the soul. Have a peaceful trip!

Thank You Katlupe... still progressing. Have next dr. appointment towards end of month and hubby booked the next weekend ... so still looking forward to the beach!
