Woo-hoo! It's football time! Colts v. Patriots tonight. As for me, I'll find out who won in the am. Starting a game at 9:00 is too close to my bedtime to get involved on any serious level unless the Vikings are playing.

So, it's time to dust off that ole recipe for "Don't need no steenkin chex mix", break out a couple of Mich ultra's and put one's feet up.

:crying: WHAAAAA!!!!!! I am so sad this morning. My Colts lost! Next Sunday is going to be an even tougher challenge with the Titans. Then the week after that we face Green Bay at home. Potentially we could start the season at 0-3. I hope the make some adjustments in the next 10 days. The Edge needs to hold on to the football and our defense needs to step it up.

Well poor me, my team is the FortyNiners and we all know they suck major swamp water this year - even the local sports announcer said they aren't expected to win more than 3-4 games. Oh well, a girl can hope....

Secondarily I root for the Raiders. They aren't first choice because they've moved around too much! But they're back in Oakland now so if the 'Niners are gonna be big LOOOOOOOZERS I may as well have a fairly local backup handy!

OK...so the Raiders are going to be 15 and 1 this year. Right now they are only one game out of first place and have the second best record in the league. Not bad for a team that went 4 and 12 last year.

After last years close Superbowl how can I root for anyone lese but the Panthers! I have had to give up my Sunday football parties that I've been attending for ten years at one friend's house or another. a 3000 calorie food frenzy and 1000 calorie low carb beer binge just don't make for good weight loss.
