I think the women are really getting the upper hand!!!! They should really know how to forage now!!! Rory is really rubbing me the wrong way!!!!!! I thought for sure he'd be voted off, but you know how they mess with the editing to throw you off the trail. I hope the girls can work out their differences, they could be VERY powerful!!!!!!

Seems those guys won't unite and its a case of the strong not surviving - as they keep knocking out the young ones. This seemd like it might not be too exciting but then you never know!!

I missed the whole thing last night! We took DD to Granny's since there was no school today and Monday. I even missed about 20 minutes of CSI. DARN! I was calling my sister to get updates! I really need to get a Tivo! What did the girls win in the reward challenge?

Maxi what a bummer!!!!!!

They won a "native" to show them how to survive on the land. It was cool. He showed them some kind of root that was edible, how to open a coconut efficiently, how to open up bamboo rods to make smoother bedding, sugar cane, um.................and I can't remember what else. They were psyched and I think they ate pretty good that day. That should really boost them, since they will know how to forage better. the Native guy didn't speak a lick of English, so they had to communicate by body language.

Oh! Thanks Barb. My sister is out-of-town w/the boyfriend, so I didn't want to call her for the update. When I saw the preview of someone is a canoe, I thought it was Rupert paying a visit during a challenge or something. Like you said, with their editing processes, you never know what's really going to happen. I will be tuned in this Thurday night, for sure!

I finally got to watch again. Very interesting last night. Scout did a good job of dividing up the tribes. They seem evenly matched. I wasn't shocked to see Bubba go. His signal was his downfall. I wonder if Rory will be next and we will see another all girl team?

Kumus, the excerpt from Finta was VERRYYY interesting...do you think it was a setup by Survivor to kick him...not knowing an explanation (sort of) would show up?? what a controversy that would make huh? Last nights split up was good. I think Bubba was hoping his team mates wouldn't kick him if he explained that he learned to swim just to go on survivor. Interesting show as always ... I wonder what that earthquake was on the richter scale!!

The earthquake WAS interesting. It was kinda funny how the camera guy either fell on his butt or dropped the camera and was still filming skyward. These split ups always make things interesting. I soooooooo wanted to see Rory go. He just rubs me the wrong way. And Amy???? (I think that's her name........the one who looks like Thea Leoni) was pretty icy when she didn't want to share the knowledge they gained from the Native guy. Didn't earn points in MY book.

I agree. They are supposed to be a team now, but she isn't acting like much of a team mate. I think the other team is very happy to be together. I know my (Maine) Julie was gonna be one of the next on the chopping block, but this should give her renewed optimism. Apparently she gets "nekkid" this week. Hmmm...could that improve her chances?? LOL
