Hehe Maxi, I'll bet we were yelling in unison at the TV!!!!! "THEY'RE GAINING MUSCLE, THEY'RE GAINING MUSCLE!!!!!!!!!!" DH told me to calm down, LOLOLOLOL and then he said, "Barb, they can't hear you!!!!" LOLOL I wish they would focus on inches lost too!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yeah, that jokester guy is a REAL jerk!!!!! I'll bet either: he was a skinny kid and made fun of the chubby kids OR he was chubby all his life, took garbage and now feels justified to do it to others. Either way, he has absolutely no compassion.........................idiot!!!!!

I would have had a really hard time not tasting anything too, 'cuz I still do that. I gotta see if it tastes right, yanno.

And yes, huge losses, NOT, was very predictable. I just wish they would explain this. The red team is low-carbing, they only lost 3 lbs, and now people will use this as fuel against LCing!!!!!! grrr, grrr, grrr!!!!!

Oh how I missed this show last week because of election returns, but it's on again tonight and previews make it seem like the LC group had a HUGE loss this time, but we'll see. I've learned that previews can be somewhat misleading sometimes.

Good episode tonight, it was 90 minutes. I was shocked at their choice of a person to be voted off, and according to the previews, so is their trainer. Don't you all think the over 400 lb. guy should be losing more, since he has so much more to lose? Or is that an unfair assessment?

I hope they do a follow up episode after it's over.

You know I thought that too, Maxi. I don't know why heisn't losing more than the rest. But this is the first time I have watched the entire episode. I had the Walk Away the Pounds dvd running at the same time so I could hear it and left the TV on the Biggest Loser so I could watch it, oh I had the closed captioning on so I read it while listening to the lady telling me to walk.

I heard a couple days ago that BL was going to be 90 minutes long because they got rid of Father of the Pride (even though they still have new episodes). So I guess BL has been getting good ratings.

That guy, Aaron, looked great in his after picture. Glad he was able to keep things up on his own. I understand why they did it, the reasoning of he can do it by himself but I think it will come back to bite them in the butt.

What's the 400+ guy's name? Mo? I think he is not doing so well. But he also needs to be there the most. He's got to do things long term though. I hope he keeps the changes in his life. Of course they aren't going to be exercising for four hours a day at home. He needs to go to the LC diet, then he'd be losing more for sure!

I think they will do a follow up. It would be neat if they brought everyone back but even seeing them individually as they leave would be cool.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The LC group lost 60 pounds!!!!!!!!!! MY HEROES!!!!!!

The LC group was in starvation mode last time, so their trainer upped their calories and decreased their exercise. Interesting, eh?

Mo is not losing because he is weightloss resistant and that indicates that his insulin levels are all screwed up. He would be losing MUCH more weight if he did LC!!!!!

I can't believe they almost voted Andrea off. I like her soooooooooooooo much!!!!! But I can understand their logic, that Aaron didn't need as much help as the rest of them. And that tells me that the rest of them are REALLY desperate to lose their weight. I just hope they get a clue in the end when the LC group starts winning EVERYTHING that that is the way to go.

I wonder if they will eventually combine the groups a la "Survivor", I hope not, they need to keep the two dieting methods separate.

I should get more interesting as the weeks go by. And I hope they all take the knowledge they've acquired home with them. Looks like next week, someone starts to eat a cupcake and is met with "...put the cupcake down and walk away slowly...."

I can't remember his name, but I think it was the guy with the shaved head and gotee. Or was it the guy that was such a jerk the last week ............. oh I'm so confused. I'm going to try to find a "biggest loser" website and see if I can nail down the names.

okay, I don't know if I did this right, but here are the pics. So I think it was either Dave or Ryan who couldn't resist the cupcakes.

Barb, look on http://www.nbc.com/The_Biggest_Loser/

I think next weeks challenge will give them some "real" tests. When you don't have a cupcake in front of you it's easy to resist. But with them all towering over you, well that is going to be tough.

I didn't think I'd like this show, especially with the ground shaking effects when they were advertising it before it came on, but it's not bad.

OK, so I had to give baby a bath. Why did they get rid of Matt??? He lost a ton of weight. Did they give any reasons? I thought they ould get rid of the "Loser" that ate the cupcake. Not because of that but because he was such a jerk. I think now people are looking at others as competition as well. Get rid of teh ones that are doing well so you can stay longer.

I was so glad Mo finally had his whoosh. Only a couple more pounds and he is under 400. That will be great for him. The trainer, Bob, was really ragging on him. I have learned through many years of put downs (subtle and not so subtle) by my father and stepmother that that doesn't work (thank God I didn't live with them, and that's why I have been estranged from my father for years). It just makes you give up and want to eat more. Mo really needs to get a handle on things.

They are already looking for the next group for the Biggest Loser. So I guess this show must have good ratings for them to have picked up for a new season.

Oh yeah, the reruns are on now at 7pm on USA. I can't wait until then to find out about Matt though.

Matt was on everyone's nerves. Lisa is on mine. And the cupcake eater. There was alot of backstabbing and arguing that came before the vote. I think Matt was bamboozled by the cupcake eater. My best bud called me during the last half hour and I missed it. Until next week.....

I can't believe they voted Matt off. I really liked the guy. Dave is a jerk and a backstabber, a la Survivor people, but I guess that's part of the "game." And LISA, what a BABY!!!!!! She just gets on my last nerve too. I've never had a panic attack, so I guess I couldn't relate. Apparently Matt was getting on everyone else's last nerve. They showed clips of him being immature and kind of obnoxious, but I think he's the youngest participant and IS a little immature. They showed the "after" pic of him at the end of the show, did you catch that. He looks GOOD!!!!! Was there a weird vibe about Dave's wife??? She was bizzarre. Maybe they told her WHY he won the visit with her. I suppose I would be upset a bit if my spouse or SO won a visit with me by cheating on the diet. That might be it.

Me too, I'm glad Mo finally had a whooooosh. He doesn't seem to work out very hard tho. But I suppose, carrying all that extra weight can really make that hard. I know when I was at my heaviest I just wanted to be a total slug and I didn't have NEARLY as much weight to lose.
