They are taking applications for the next "Biggest Loser". I can't imagine going on that show. But then again, I only have about 6-7 lbs to lose to reach my goal weight. I'm such a couch fauxtato at heart. All that exercise would KILL me. LOL

Oh yes I am sure they do show the worst. Though you know if I were childless I may consider it. You know even on Survivor the non winners get paid. Not near as much but they do get some compensation starting at $5000 (they won't go into more specifics than that) and the chance to win that money would be pretty tempting. Drea has really kept up the good image so I know it is possible. They don't have any really big women on there this time so I would like to see someone large that's a little more motivated than Mo. Or at least a little less prone to injury. His weight right now on the show is what I was when I started this WOE. But even looking at the dreaded b-day pictures he is a lot more flabby in the legs and arms than I. (though our bellies may have similar giggle:o ) I imagine that he doesn't have much muscle mass at all.

And you know Maxi I'm with you, I was not going to be a Gary fan but have become one. I fear it may be his downfall to get close to his goal but he's done great.

That would be so cool to "know" someone on that show!!!!! And if you/they did it, of course I would be one of their biggest fans!!!!!! The exercise looks sooooooooooooo grueling tho!!!! UGH!!!!

I sure hope Mo keeps going after the show is over and gets down to a healthy weight. He's such a sweet guy. I almost cried at their voting session and he was hugging and telling the people who voted for him that it was "okay" and comforting them. What a sweeeeeeeeeeeet heart!!!!!

And yes, the editing does a lot for an "interesting" show. We humans are so drawn to social conflict and resolution. I guess it's just our nature.

Barb k - i think the idea of the show is to take people who realy havent done anything about their weight either. ...

or those yo-yo dieters..

i watched it lastnight... pretty much first night i was able to watch the complet show usualy do to working. so im terrible w/ the names... i thought it was very sad when they were sitting around the table and they relized one of their own team members lied to them and left the option on who was leaveing up to the other team.. i would have been more sad to see the guy leave who was opted by his own team...

the team members whom have left look GREAT!

so BL fans, do you think they are going to keep the two trainers or just keep one. only 2 days before we see them with the families. but I am trying to figure out what they are going to do about the consolidation. I hope they keep them eating differently (or put everyone on lc so Mo can lose better) but let them exercise together. that way the groups could get to know each other better.

Noel, that's an interesting thought. Maybe that will be a reward for the winning team, to get to decide who's trainer is staying...Mo would definately benefit from the other teams diet. Looking forward to Tuesday's show.

So I almost cried when Gary got to see his family, I thought everyone would when I saw the previews last week but it was so nice to see him with the kids and his wife. He has been looking so good lately. I fear his weigh loss will stop and he'll be in the bottom two next week. Go, Gary, go!

OK, I am just done with Lisa. Gosh, I wish she had been the one to go. She cries when Matt says that little remark and then when she weighs has to get in her own two cents to make Drea feel bad. She insensitive and a b**** to boot. Drea has never been mean or said a cruel word to anyone. I hope Lisa goes next week. Kick her whiny butt off.

Drea looked amazing in her after photo. She looks great in a bikini even weighing over 160. With her "junk in the trunk" (her words not mine). She has such a great attitude.

I totally agree w/you, Noel. That Lisa chick cries at the drop of a hat and it gets on my ever-lovin' nerves!!

The previews look interesting. If they don't get rid of Mo, he's gonna end up winning this. Why? He may lose enough to keep him above the line, and he may get to the point where he can work out more, since he will be physically more able. I'd like to see Kelly or Gary win.

Of the final two, does the one with the highest percentage of weight loss win? I think I missed that part!

I LOVE looking at "Before and After" photos. On the show, on this site, wherever. It's really inspiring. Weight loss is so gradual that you just get used to seeing yourself every day. Looking back at the pix reminds the person how far they've come. You're a great example, Noel. Except your pix are Before and During right now! Drea did look hot in her after picture! Meow!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, I taped the show and they must have run over 'cuz the tape ended just BEFORE they did the vote!!!! But I take it My Favorite Drea got voted off!!! Phooey, I really wanted her to win!!!! She is such a cool and together person, never saying one bad thing about anyone else. And I missed her after pic. I'll bet she looks awesome, 'cuz she was lookin' awesome up to the end. I thought they would strategize and keep Mo on as a most likely place holder in the bottom category. He just doesn't have a history of losing bunches of weight. So they did and sacrificed Drea.

Gary's wife was just precious. And the kids could get the arms around their daddy, how cute!!!! I can't believe he is wearing (at that point) one size bigger than my DH. And he's a skinny guy. Gary must be a bit shorter than my DH.

It's going to get interesting.

I'm going to look up biggest loser online and see if they have a pic of Drea posted. I can't believe my tape shut off too soon. Next time I will add an extra half hour just to be sure.

I so wanted them to get rid of Lisa too!!!!!!!

Thanks, Maxibee. I hope my after looks as good as Drea. Probably not (too much excess skin will be my downfall) but I can get close.

They didn't go into how the final two will be decided between. I was thinking about that. Maybe it will be like Survivor and Big Brother were the rest of them come back and vote. It will be interesting to see.

Another thing I was thinking about what Matt said and Lisa got so peeved. You know they had Matt jumping through hoops the week before to stay, he had the right to say it. If she was not going to "be sorry" for what she said then he shouldn't have had to apologize to her for that remark because it was right on the money. Oh, I just dislike her so. Please get voted off next week!

It would be nice if Mo won an immunity and Lisa had to go against Kelly. Then maybe Lisa would be gone. But I think you're right. They are going to keep Mo around until they find out how the voting goes.

Poor Drea....she really didn't want to go yet, but took it like the lady that she is. Lisa has got to get out of there. If she whines one more time, I'm going to forcefeed her a donut!! I like Gary also, and I agree that Mo looks like he could give it a little more effort, but I think last week he did try a little harder. This show isn't over until almost midnight where I live, but I wouldn't miss it!

:bellydanc Nah nah nah nah hey hey hey good-bye!

Oh I was scared for a while during tonight's show. But I had faith that Gary would be convincing enough so that Ryan would listen to him. OK I realize I kept calling him Matt last week and had to look up his name even after just watching the show.

It slays me that Lisa left saying that she started as a whiny complainer but isn't leaving as one. Ah, yeah you are!

But I will give her props and say she did look good in her after photo. I have never been so happy to see an after photo. I literally cheered when Ryan lifted his cover.

I wonder if the finale will be live? I would guess not because it doesn't say so on teh web site. But that would be interesting. Sending them home for a month and then measure their progress when it's over. Now that would be the best test.

Anyhow, back to the here and now most recent episode. I can't believe Gary lost that much weight. I thought for sure he would slow way down. I'm still liking Gary the best then Mo then Kelly then Ryan. Though tonight I love Ryan for his choice.

Well, that's my two cents. Hope you all enjoyed it as well.
