| I'm thinking about asking Santa for a hand blender, I believe it's called a stick mixer or stick blender. I'm leaning toward a Braun model but might look to see what Kitchen Aid has. I'd like one that will be heavy duty and will last. Suggestions? So...what's on your Christmas list?

| Oooh, some very nice gifts on the wish lists here. Gilley, when there were four of us living at home, I had a full size freezer. It was nice, except the added electricity cost. Then my oldest moved out and I divorced and I didn't need the big freezer or the bill so I gave it to my folks. Now there's just my baby (a 17-year-old son) and myself, but I'm finding the freezer compartment on the fridge just isn't big enough even for the two of us...especially when there's a sale on meat. Teelbee: I've seen those Roomba vacuum cleaners. They remind me of the first step into becoming a Jetson. State of the art. I hear they can also find their way back into the charger all by themselves. Very cool! As for the mattress, I bought a Serta "do not disturb" mattress...and I LOVE IT! (there's nobody on the other side to disturb me so I can't tell you how well that part works) I paid through the nose for it, though. Queen size set was about $800 if I recall. The GF grills are nice. The small one (with the box that shows two burgers being cooked) can cook one frozen hamb. patty or one chicken breast. It's great for when my son fixes his own dinner. I would like one of the big ones, but I have no more counter space and my limited cupboard space was filled up two decades ago. <sigh>

| I have a new scale on my list. DH has decided we should also ask for new pillows. I would also like a trifle dish and a digital camera.

| I would love one of those sewing machine cabinets that opens out into a large surface and the machine rests on a hydraulic lift that pushes up and down. Darn, those puppies are expensive though! My sewing machine was a birthday gift several years back and the only gift that plugs in that DH got away with as I wanted a Viking for years. Melissa, check out one of those small chest freezers. They are about the size of a washing machine and DH and I found that it was perfect for the two of us.

| what i would really like is a piece of exercise equipment. a recumbent bike or an elliptical machine. a really good one - like health club/gym quality. but $$ is tight this year, so i am being realistic. there's a silver tiffany's necklace that i think BF will get for me. my bday is 4 days before christmas, so i always get the same old crappy line, "here you go, this gift is for your bday AND christmas combined!!" know what i want to say to those people?!?!? hahaha. <evil laugh> you think they would do that if my bday was in june?!?! noooooooo! |

| my reason for wanting the small freezer is we live in a double wide... and i do not have room for a large one.. (we have a large one wich is in our barn and it is difacult to get in during the winter to get food out..) the small one i can put in our laundry room w/ some rearangeing.. THe george forman grill.. how about you look in to one of those multi purpose grills i have one.. it was a cheaper model i wish it was nicer.. beacuse the teflon has burnt and peeld so i dont use it anymore.. but it was nice had high sides and a lid so if i wanted to brown some chicken then make a mushroom sauce over it i could do it all one 1 pan and not dirty lots of dishes.. one thing i forgot to put on my list beacuse i know im getting it.. (kinda bad but i had to draw it up and give measurements for it.. a coat rack bench w/ shoe compartment under ( they look like a wooden bench but it has a high back w/ coat rack hooks on it.. the ones i see in stores have storage bench but i want an open bottom w/ a shelf for the shoes that seem to clutter infront of my door..

| HI All, My niece has a 2 1/2 inch thick memory rubber mattress on her bed. It is SOOO comfy. Thats on my list. What I really want in the patio door in my bedroom moved to the other wall. I hate it where it is. My DH and DS can do it them selves. But, they say its too much work. I have the big GF grill I love it. Is there any other way to cook bacon?

| I gave DH a combo birthday (sept), anniversary(aug) and xmas present this year. but I think I'll claim it for next year too. a 2005 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic. our family present this year was new carpeting and a new kitchen floor - and my new Dyson vacumn cleaner. so, really, just want little things. A pocket digital camera, some nice bath set. Don't even want clothes at this time.

| Teel - we recently bought a King Sealy Posturepedic at Costco for just over $600. It is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The top few inches are really soft and fluffy, then firm under that - wonderful, wonderful. My Christmas wish is a new "comfortable" body. I want no more aches and pains - I know things will improve much as the weight comes off - doubt it will be enough by Christmas, though. Karen
