| Read about the very cool nutrition calculator on the Jack in the Box website: http://www.lowcarbeating.com/bb/show...257#post124257 (I posted this info in the cooking forum by mistake)

| I saw this a few weeks ago, but I could never get it to calculate anything bunless. I'm so not technically advanced, though, it was probably me. Jack-in-the-Box will make anything you want bread/bun/biscuitless if you want it that way. It comes in a little domed plastic tray w/utensils. Cool.

| When I saw "Jack rules" I instantly thought, "No silly, she doesn't mean Jack-in-the-Box. She must mean jack cheese." You see, Jack and I have been intimate friends...until I gave up simple carbs. I was at the site a few weeks ago and while I saw the nutrition list, I couldn't find a way to calculate a bunless meal either. If you're on the West coast, Carl's Jr. has a low-carb (bunless) chicken club that's really good and a low-carb burger, that tends to sit in the pit of my stomach whenever I eat it. And Pollo Loco has a website that allows you to remove ingredients--tortillas strips, cheese, rice, etc. from meals to change the nutritional values.

| I agree it's not as easy as it should be to find the customizing feature to figure your bunless burgers, but it's there and it works. Here's how: http://www.jackinthebox.com/ourfood/list.php 1. Add a menu item to your tray from the pulldown menus. 2. Hit Calculate. The report displays the menu item on the left and the nutrition data on the right. 3. Click the menu item listed on the left to open the page that lists all ingredients. 4. Uncheck the ingredients you don't eat. 5. Hit RECALCULATE to see the new nutrition breakdown. Caveat - some menu items (mainly big salads) won't allow you to subtract certain ingredients and recalculate the total. But you will still get a listing showing all ingredients and the nutrition info for each ingredient. So, you can still rework the total yourself. I just hope this kind of thing becomes a food industry standard. ~~~Teelbee

| How on this planet do they get 10 grams total carb for lettuce (iceberg and romaine mix) and 3 grams fiber for net of 7 - there is clearly a wrong count!!! USDA says 3.5 ounces (100 grams) which is a LOT of lettuce is 2.98 and nearly 2 grams fiber. Karen
