Default Bathing suits

I don't know why they take them out of the stores, but I can't find a bathing suit in Austin Texas for less than 80 dollars
I need a 2x ( I bought 2 1x's in september for 3 dollars each but can't quite fit in them yet)
So, I dislike buying over the internet or catalog - however, if someone in the deep south - florida maybe can check your local wallmart or kmart or target and see if they still have bathing suits in stock, let me know
maybe work something out with you....
I need a 2x, X(cross) back, would like to not have to pay more than 20-25 dollars... colors - any - shelf bra.
let me know if you are out and about shoping for the holidays, tks
carolyn

You sure you wouldn't feel okay ordering over the internet? Landsend usually has a good selection of swimsuits; and I believe their return policy covers swimwear (not sure since they were acquired by Sears). I think the Landsend website also has the My Model utility that lets you configure a model of your self and virtually "try on" different styles. It's not perfect, but it does help a bit.

Sometime back, Lawbooks posted a link to an awesome site for X-size suits. Maybe she will see this and find the link.

JC PEnneys clearance catalog usually has some nice ones at a reasonable price as well--though again that is over the internet. :( I wish now I still had the two I gave away back in the spring--Both would have fit you most likely. . .one 2X and one 22! Anyway, just my $.02

Found a few more web sites with bathing suits, some as low as 15.00, but most aren't large enough, the sizing for bathing suits is weird, large numbers are small sizes.... go figure....
anyway, depending what site you look at I either need a 40 or 22, and most of the things I have found are smaller, ....
well I will keep searching.

I'm in Southern California and there are no bathing suits in the local stores. I do expect to see some around Feb or March.

I can't remember the last time I wore a bathing suit. I'm not even sure if I still own one. Oh well...right now, I don't see myself squeezing into a suit any time soon.
