Click on the link to play the game. Answer 10 questions and the CATS (Canine Aptitude Transfer System, I think it is) computer tells you what kind of dog you would be and shows you a picture of the breed.

I'm an Entelbach Mountain Dog?! "Smallest of the Swiss mountain dogs, good natured and intelligent, makes a good companion provided it gets plenty of space." Hmmm...that's about right!

Cute questionaire. I would be a Basenji (a Zande, Congo Bush dog). I never heard of it before but I probably wouldn't mind owning one. It says it cleans itself like a cat and has no doggie smell.

I'll have to try it when I have more time.....sounds like fun!

Melissa, if I'm not mistaken, I believe that Basenji dogs also do not bark. At all. I was told that by a lady who was running a shelter and I've heard that since.

My dog (my avatar) likes to bark! She's half Border Collie and half Australian Shepherd. You can tell just by looking at her that she's got some BC in her!

Yes, Maxi. The site said that it yodeled instead of barking. Another good reason to exchange my poochies for one!

I have a German shepherd mix who likes to bark at night. Which is why he quickly became a house dog. Good thing he's a wonderfully, well behaved old pooch. I love him to pieces. Next to my son and my dearly departed lap cat, he's my best buddy.

Our other dog is a...well, we don't really know for sure. There's definitely some Sharpei, but he grew into his the wrinkles that were on his forehead when we got him. The vet said she thinks he has some shepherd, too. We don't know what else. His coloring is like Rottweiler (but he doesn't have a broad enough face) or Doberman (but he doesn't have a pointy enough face) He loves to play in the sprinklers and the hose, likes to eat door mats and is a sock thief. He also barks and growls when he's outside after dark, so he's become a kitchen kennel dog at night. He's housebroken. Now if we can just keep him from chewing on things...

Isn't that old-fashioned computer interface they used for the questionnaire cute? And the shaky, hand-held video look when they show you the dog's picture?

Lou, I hope you can get it to load. The site was featured on one of the large Corgi lists that I'm on, and everyone seems to be playing the game, so it might be that the site is experiencing a lot of traffic right now.

Also, I just read that the programmers of the site won, I think, a Golden Globe for it (since it is promoting a movie, actually, not just the dog game).
