| This is Ozzie, the little toy poodle we rescued in Aug. 2003. He actually loves these PJs since he is very cold natured! Last edited by Kumus; 12-23-2004 at 01:23 PM. |

| Really? I remember your post when your Mom adopted Cherie. It was actually around the time we rescued Ozzie. Is Cherie cold natured? He really does love those pjs, they keep him so warm. Trina, my coworker found him in her street near death. He weighed four pounds. For several months before Ozzie found us, we had been talking about adopting another dog. We knew it would happen when the time was right. Bless his heart, he had really been abused and neglected. He still has some issues from whatever happened to him and would not be well suited for young children. He makes a wonderful addition to our family since our two sons are older teens. I would probably adopt all the needy doggies I could find if my DH would let me! ![]() |

| He DOES, Susan! They could be from the same family! She doesn't seem overly cold-natured however she DOES like to root around in the blankets and curl up. This time of year, we only clip her face and tail, the rest of her is a big furball right now! He is so lucky to have you for his Mom, just as Cherie is to have MY Mom. She has totally settled into the routine around here and says "MaMa!" when she wants up in Mom's lap.... Of course my cat Lucky still has not deigned to accept her into the family. Pffffft! She gives Cherie a swat in the butt any time she gets the opportunity! We still haven't been able to adopt a new one ourselves. It will be 3 years next month since we had to have our 12 YO Rottie put down. We still can't bring ourselves to go LOOK for another dog. However, if one APPEARED - well that would be a different story! LOL! Char

| Char, I had to have a "talk" with Ozzie today. He has been a bit grumpy lately and I don't like it when his attitude gets like that. He is really intelligent and I get the feeling he undestood me somewhat. I'm glad Cherie has your Mom, they sound like a perfect match. Sorry you lost your dog, I know how bad that hurts. I love cat stories, my DSIL & her family are cat lovers. DS & I are allergic but I think they are adorable. |
