Hi. Thought I'd try this out. Anyone can come post, visit, get support/sympathy/whatever you need. Just a bunch of people chatting - no topic, no challenge, just a circle of friends.
You can even just stop in and say HI if you want. Just to let people know you are around.

so. I''m back from my night away. It was fun, and looking forward to xmas eve. all bets are off on LC for the next couple days.

i am feeling overwhelmed, too. :( up til 2:30 AM last nite wrapping presents ... and also wrapping presents for boyfriend to give!!! grrrrr. he didn't even SEE half of what HE is giving! LOL.
i love the holidays, but i could really use a [warm] vacation right about now. (santa, puhleeeease??)

Oh Donna & Carrie - Sorry to hear Christmas is so stressful. so far,it looks to just be another day here. Both kids (20/22) slept past 3 today, so probably won't be up tomorrow either.

Hopefully, you all enjoy it tomorrow and don't stress so much about it.

moon and daughter #2 worked today... daughter #1 and i painted some stuff in the kitchen that i didnt like the way i had painted it before..
grandson *8yr old* is in cali with his dad.. two year old is buzzin on some kinda drugs for his crup ...
tomorrow daughter #2 ... honeymoon and i..(or is it me?) are probably going to do our ritual of seeing 3 movies in a row..(if the 50 mile trip there isnt too scary with the weather)

well, Christmas eve dinner is LC pizza bread. Noone really wants anything.
Didn't do anything today but watch TV. AMC is alternating the colorized and B&W Miracle on 34th street, and a bunch of dumb other movies are on. Lazy, lazy day.

We were up til after 3 last night wrapping and setting up a fish tank...but the excitement on the DD's face this morning when she came downstairs was well worth the LATE night! She was so wound up she did not sleep until WAY late last night--well after midnight so she didnt'g et up til after 8. She was flying when she came into our bedroom...the gameboy SP is charging though she could not wait to try it out til she could move from the plug-in! We put DD's Betta in the tank late this morning--not quite 12 hours, but he is a pretty healthy fish. Tank looks gorgeous! DH was excited about the Sirius radio I got him for his birthday--it is tomorrow--but he does have to get it installed before he can listen to it! That is tomorrow's task--DD got him a Nintendo gamecube and he and she are upstairs playing. I have the turkey in the oven, wills tart the green bean casserole in about 30 minutes, fix the stuffing and potatos a bit before everything should be done and we plan to eat around 3:30. DH is already hollering about being hungry. No one here but just us and I made the treats for his office last night...we will eat a few bites of the chex mix and puppy chow before he takes it in...we always supply the treats for the office the week after Christmas--tradition of sorts I guess. I also have to slice cucumbers and chop the lettuce--I get to use my Christmas gift heavily today making salad--I LOVE my food processor!

Sounds like a great family xmas. my DD is back in her room on the phone, son and dad are watching Ben Hur, I'm enjoying the parades at Disney. I didn't work too hard on a meal today. HBaked ham, scalloped potatoes, stuffing - from boxes. What the heck.
