When I got in my car it was 50 degrees at 8:22AM. Now it's an hour and a half later and it's 56.

Who says it's cold in Colorado ALL winter!

Yesterday it was 70 when I got off work and took the baby for a nice walk outside.

Of course if you don't like the weather in Colorado wait a minute. It could turn bitterly cold any day now...though it's not suppose to for a while.

But I do feel for you, Jackie, being from the frigid north a stone's throw from Canada, I have have my share of 20 years in long subzero winters.

Oh, yeah I have to say I like the photo of your puppy dog. For some reason while I don't like the small poodles I LOVE the standard size. Very pretty dog.

Oh Jackie, I feel for you! That's just too cold. It's currently 52 degrees here in Denver and perhaps I shouldn't mention that it was 70 degrees yesterday?

Just after noon here and my computer says it's 2 degrees right now. It was -11 when I got up a few hours ago. I washed my car yesterday because it was so slushy and salty and dirty. I hope I can get the doors open!! I'm not planning to go out very soon!

Ester, I didn't actually take the day off but I get off at 4 so it was in the peak of the niceness...now why couldn't it be that nice Saturday! But Sunday we should be in for some great weather. And isn't it great that the mountains have gotten so much snow! 125% of average snow pack...maybe this drought will be over sooner rather than later.

Oops! My bad, I was reading too quickly. DH and I should have taken a walk when we got home since we live a stone's throw from the Cherry Creek path. We'll definitely have to get out and do something Sunday. I'm really glad about the snow pack, too, and hope that this really is the begining of the end drought-wise! I know my rose bushes hope so, too.

That's so funny, Esther, I ended up on that path yesterday evening...of course it stretches so many miles.

Well, we're having a little cold snap here in the San Francisco Bay Area - hehe. Traces of frost in the mornings, daily highs in the low 60s. We've finally gotten a chance to dry out after a couple of weeks of rain. So, it's brilliantly sunny out, but chilly in the shade.

We just came out of a deep freeze - 30 celcius. Now, that's much too cold. Now it's just about 0 (32F), so it seems warm to us. We've been getting really weird weather here in Canada, and it can stop any time. I know what you mean about the "winter crazies". They've hit me too.

Wow warm in Colorado, whoda thunk it? we had 60 last Thursday and this is the first REAL cold we've had this year, and without the usual snowfall it makes it seem much colder, or maybe Im just gettin old soft and grumpy.I think I musta been misplaced at birth, I'm just sure there is a woman who loves to ski and snowsled, sweating on Maui and I should be there....my dream.
Cash , thats my dog says thanks for the complement, he and his wife Mille are expecting puppies the end of February, Man I hope it warms up by then!!!
