I have to admit I enjoy Idol. It's simple fun, kinda nice to watch after a stressful day at work. Anybody else watch?

DH and I have been watching since it came on. I'm sorta wishing that we can just fast forward to the final twelve so that the real event can get underway. Last season was the first time that we watched and we didn't tune in until after the final twelve started. Have they always had so many audition episodes in the past seasons? I wouldn't mind the audition ones so much if they actually showed more of them and less of the "fluff" like this week's when they spent so much time on the rehearsals of some of the groups. But then again, I guess they have to give Ryan something to do.

I really like that show too! Although I have to admit that I like the very beginning of the show when they have to weed out the bad singers. They are great for comic relief! But I have to tell you Ryan Seacrest annoys the heck out of me I can't stand his exit line, Seacrest out! Gag me!

Ok, ok... I'll admit it; we are big fans here as well!
I've even gotten my kids hooked on the show. My dh *claims* that he doesn't watch it, but he'll walk by and pause, and then sit down... and 30 minutes later, he is still sitting there watching! hahaha!

My DH would do the same thing last season. This year he works evening shift and isn't home. My DS will have me tape it if he is working when Idol comes on. I'll be happy when the group is finally narrowed to the 12 girls & 12 guys so we find out who is really in.

didn't they put a limit on the # of times each person can vote - b/c so many people were voting over and over again?

I've voted before - I have a cordless phone right by my recliner, so I dial once, then just keep hitting "redial" until I get through. Sometimes I never do though!

It's a great show for entertainment purposes. I think it will be interesting this time with guys night and girls night!
