Exclamation Printing Food in Your Inkjet Printer?

I get Dr. Mercola's newsletter by email, and whether I agree with his opinions or not, it's always interesting. This article, about a chef who developed a way to print edible ink on edible paper, has me scratching my head. He wants to make food levitate; he wants to make edible chairs. Um, ok.
Whatdya think?

I think the replicators in 10 Forward could use a good upgrade!

A friend of mine has a cake decorating business and she uses the edible ink/paper cartoons as decorations on cake. I happen to think they are ugly (who wants to look at Loony Tunes Yosemite Sam's hairy face on a piece of cake?). I guess other people love the paper cartoons and think they are fun. I will say that paper decorations do not taste very good - as you might expect.

I think the bookmaking guys would love this. More fun than flash-paper!

Gives "making you eat your words" a new meaning......

This guy was on the local news a few months ago, and he's really serious about all this weirdness.......

This should be a visual, but here goes anyway: I pretend to take a drag of a "funny little cigarette" and choke out:"Want some more?" Everyone that knows me laughs because I am the LAST person they would expect to do something like that!

I decorate cakes and its really big in the sugar art industry. I don't have one of the special printers myself because I think its cheating and not real decorating!
