| I have heard comments just about every where I've been in the last couple days, as to how wonderful this movie is..."The notebook". Has anyone seen it????

| Saw it, loved it - but then I've always loved James Garner! DH and I thought it was well-done. Kind of a "chick flick" but not too sappy! Char

| I haven't seen the movie but it is my all time very favorite book. Nicholas Sparks also wrote "Message in a bottle".

| Great chick flick, a three-Kleenex one for sure. Crystal, is "Message in a Bottle" the one they made the movie from with Kevin Costner, Paul Newman, and Robin Wright Penn? Another great chick flick! I'll have to find the book and read it!

| I haven't seen it, but I heard a bit about it. Maybe I'll read the book instead of watching the movie. I don't care for tear-jerkers. I have enough trouble fighting back tears with silly movies and game shows. I'm afraid I'd not recover from an honest-to-goodness sad movie. My oldest son saw "Notebook." He liked it so much that he bought it. He'd like to think of himself as a tough guy...truth is, he's a real softy. He told me that watching it makes him cry like a baby. LOL

| Yes "message in a bottle" was the one with Kevin Costner and Paul Newman. My 14 yo DS went and saw the notebook with a girl. He didn't cry at the theater, but as soon as he stepped into the house, the poor kid just totally lost it! When I read the book, I literally sobbed and sobbed at the end. Loved reading it, but can't read it again. Too emotionally draining!
