Anyone watch this show? Who do you think is going to be the next President? I love Jimmy Smits!!!! I hope he is still around next season. I loved him on LA Law and NYPD Blue. I can't believe that next week is the season finale :(

Boy, I think it could go either way. Alan Alda is every bit as big a star as Jimmy Smits. I like them both. I just can't see how they are going to get rid of the VP in order for Jimmy Smits to win the nomination. But, that's how its got to go, huh? I also wonder about the Pres. daughter and her new boyfriend. Wouldn't it be cool if they married?? In the White House?? I love White House weddings. But then, I am a real romantic! (Sigh)

The thing I hope that DON'T do it leave it a cliff hanger. I mean, I can just see it ending with "NBC is projecting .......as the winner.....here are the results...."
Continued next season.

NOOOOO not the last season! This is the best show on TV as far as I am concerned. It is so intelligent and well written. I will be sad to see it go.

You may be right, but I distinctly remember them promoting tonight as the last "episode" of this season. Usually if it is the last ever, they say so. However, I may have missed that.

I will be watching - I hate to see a show so intelligent get canned. It can't be doing too bad in the ratings. Maybe by some slim chance we will see it again next season.

This was the best episode ever!!!!!!!!! I loved it! I can't believe Leo is taking the VP nomination. I think that all along the president wanted Santos but couldn't say.

Santos won the nomination and chose Leo as his running mate. Things are heating up with an investigation by the FBI as to who leaked to the Press about the military space shuttle. The Astronauts are hanging out in the space station dying because of air and the Pres. hasn't decided to rescue them. It ended with the military head chick shutting the door in the press secretary's (what's his name?) office and saying that the FBI had a theory about the leak being in the West Wing, and he wasn't going to like the theory. Everything is pointing to Allison Janney. I wonder if she is wanting to get off the show? She has won two Emmys for her performance. Maybe she wants to move on to something else?

Now, I ask you........can Alan Alda beat Jimmy Smits??? I THINK NOT!! (He is so hunky!)

Peace, Peg

Just a wild and crazy thought here...do you think Santos/McGarry will get elected and they will chose Bartlett for chief of staff(Leo's old job), CJ will go back to being press secretary, and Toby and Josh and Donna will all return to their previous jobs????
I was kinda miffed as to why they would want to make it election time so soon in the series...I think they should've done *real time* and let Bartlett have it for 8 years...LOL...oh well, that's the magic of TV, eh????

CJ is going to go to prison as the leak of the military shuttle for the astronauts. JMHO.

SHELLEY! I forgot about Toby's brother! That makes more sense. The series was leading us to CJ. I should know better than to be "hooked" that way!
