 House passes inspection!! My soon-to-be new house passed its inspection with flying colors! The inspector even commented that it was in amazingly good shape for its age (which he estimated at more than 100 years). Maggie has generously fixed up and posted some pictures of the back and interior over in the original thread, if you want to see them. Thanks, everyone, for your support through this! | Re: House passes inspection!! Mortgage paperwork is being overnighted today, so should be able to have it back to lender by Monday. I'm not sure how long it will take to get final approval, but I don't think very long since everything is in place and I have preliminary approval. I think at that point we just more or less pick a date. I could be in by the time spring flowers are blooming here! I think I saw hyacinths coming up by the back door there on Tuesday. It will be fun to see what all pops up; I bet there's some amazing stuff planted, considering how long the house has been there. Aderyn |
