Wow! DD weighed 8lbs, 12 oz. and I thought SHE was huge! My perspective has now changed! There must be some genetic thing going on there....the Mom did not look really big. Amazing.

I supposed they would have mentioned it if she was subject to gestational diabetes. If not treated, that can result in very large babies.

2010 start weight: 158 / goal: 137-134 / now: 145
I saw the story on the news last night. She didn't have gestational diabetes or over term pregnancy which is usually the raeson for Extra large babies. In fact she was 3 weeks early. amazingly.
