 ICE your cell phone! Recieved this email from a friend today. This is such a good idea, I thought I would pass it along! It might save a life! Subject: ICE Paramedics will turn to a victim's cell phone for clues to that person's identity. You can make their job *much* easier with a simple idea that they are trying to get everyone to adopt: ICE. ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. If you add an entry in the contacts list in your cell phone under ICE, with the name and phone no. of the person that the emergency services should call on your behalf, you can save them a lot of time and have your loved ones contacted quickly. It only takes a few moments of your time to do. Paramedics know what ICE means and they look for it immediately. ICE your cell phone NOW!

You can check this one out on Snopes.com - which, BTW is the BEST place to always check out this kind of email stuff - some said it was a hoax, some said it would make you susceptible to a certain type of cell hack, some said the EMTs knew nothing about it.... Me, I say, it can't HURT and I plan to do it unless someone can tell me a really good reason NOT to! Char

| Re: ICE your cell phone! We just had a story on the new regarding this as well. I went and got my phone after and immediately put in ICE1 and ICE2.
