I am so excited to watch the show. While I was at my Halloween party at the church I had a nervous thought that it was Tuesday and that I was missing my show - whew!

I enjoyed tonight's episode. I can really see the transformation in alot of the contestants. They have lost alot of weight and gained alot of self-confidance and love for themselves AND for other people.
At one point it was total war between the men and women. Now, they have all seemed to bond. Pete decided on the partners and he did a great job. They have grown so much from partnering together. Suprisingly enough, I did my share of crying when the voting was over. It's amazing how people change.

The previews sure looked interesting. What do you all think?

Next show they all are working by themselves - ugh! It is so much more fun when you can have a partner but in the real world we usually are doing this alone.

I thought the guy looked great and he'll probably look better when they get back to him for the last show. I thought it was a good choice to get rid of him. He was an awesome loser and for them to have any chance (especially girls) of the money they had to get rid of him. He was so great about it too. It really made me cry to see how touched they all were to cut out their friend.

I agree. It was awesome to see the ways that they have bonded. I would love to have seen the "inbetween" times when that bonding was taking place. I had the feeling that the guy with the curly hair was totally intimidated by his feisty partner. But, in the long run it was the right decision. I had forgotten that the guy was a cop. He really looked a whole lot better, didn't he? I wouldn't mind him "protecting and defending" me! (I'm just a fool for a man in uniform. My first H [I refuse to put a "D" in front of that "H"] was a cop)

I thought Mark looked awesome when they showed him again. I couldn't help but wonder about his wife though. With Pete, both he and his wife had begun to diet together. Mark's wife said she would as well but was not on the follow up video. I'm betting that these contestants new found fitness enthusiasm can put a strain on their marriages if the partner stays the same. I thought that with Suzanne as well.

I was touched when Matt rode back and drove Shannon and her daughter across the finish line. I'm also very happy that they have started to all work together. They were good team choices.

I was also thinking about his wife Cushie. I sure hope that we see in the finale that she is also doing great.

I hope so. Wouldn't it be just awful if families were destroyed by what should be a good thing.

I think about that though with these guys and girls. Even though their spouse has stuck with them through the weight gain what happens when the spouse says "oh now look at me" and they are getting all this national attention and they say "I can do better".

It may not be something they would normally do but when thrust into the spotlight I think some people don't use their best judgement.

I plan on watching it on the elliptical at the gym tonight. Can't wait to watch it. Is there a new Earl on too?

Watched The Biggest Loser today at the gym. Didn't Shannon look great now? Wow! I was so impressed! I thought that Matt's strategy of gaining weight was a good idea. I sure hope it works! I can't believe that he gained 12 pounds though! That might have been hard to handle.

I missed the first 15 minutes, I had to mute the sound to listen to my m-i-l on the phone. What did Shannon say to Bob that upset him so much? How did she hurt her foot?

I was just beginning to like her, too. She puts on a tough front, but I think it's just a cover for how she really feels. She did look great. She's gone on to lose 30 more pounds after the show! She must be short, though.

I think I would've voted for Andrea, because she is the closest to her goal. They didn't vote for her because they want to keep someone in there who doesn't put up big numbers.

What was Matt's plan for gaining that weight? Yikes!

Any guesses on the winner? I think Pete, the doc, or Seth.

It was when Shannon said "you are suppose to be my trainer" and went on about how her foot hurt that Bob got really pissed and said "I AM YOUR TRAINER". They didn't say how she hurt her foot she just was complaining about it when they were jumping/hopping on their way to the challenge

Matt had the immunity so he was gaining so that next week he would have a big loss. Of course he probably thought he would gain a few pounds not 12.

I thought Shannon looked good too. She does seem pretty short. I can't wait to see her in a few weeks for the finale. She grew on me as well. Though I wasn't thrilled with the looked she gave her teammates when she was being voted off. By this time it is purely a game and yes she was more of a threat than Andrea. Of course I imagine I would be peeved but hopefully I wouldn't look at them that way. I thought the way Mark handled himself the week before was a great example of how they should act. Poor Suzy, can't get through an elimination without breaking down.

Also Matt looked so much better after his haircut. I'm glad he liked it or he would have been mad at Suzy. It still floors me to see what he looked like in college. He's determined I think he will be there again...well notthat thin because he was a wrestler but close. He is so determined.

They all seem to be getting along well now. Two more eliminations before the final show. Must be getting tough.

I think Seth will win, he's not one of my favs, but he is working hard and looks like a whole new man. I sure bet he and his wife had fun the night she stayed over I would hope they gave them their own room...or maybe not.

Doc has done far better than I thought and I am so happy for his family. Now they will have their dad around a lot more. And he will inspire his patients to get out there and lose weight. I would love to see him win.

I totally agree about Matt. His haircut made him look like another person. It made him look younger too.
BTW, Shannon is the one that went home last night. Her whole family was fat...if you noticed. She has done sooo well. She looks so good now! She's down to 170 lbs. I believe...maybe even better.

Thanks for the site syzygy64. I looked up Shannon and it said that she is 5'3". I bet she would be one of those people who would look great at 115 pounds.

I just can't believe what a cutee Matt was after his hair was cut. Wow! He is just going to get better and better looking.

You're welcome Babyblue (Heather).

You're right, and 5'3" is very short.
