We are ok here, but all of that devastation is about 20-30 minutes from us. We had terrible storms through the night, with the tornado first touching down in Henderson, KY. which is about 20 minutes from us.

Our niece and her family live in Newburgh, IN., it's bad there and in Henderson KY., at the horse track. That beautiful race track and facilities is almost a complete loss.

The mobile home destruction in Evansville, Indiana where most people died is about 40 minutes from us. Several hundred injuries, some critical.

They are covering it on Fox and MSN. Thanks for thinking of us, Shell. There are lots of hurting families today, our prayers go out to them.

Yes, I am praying for all those poor people hit by the tornados, Susie. Thankfully, you and yours are safe. Everyone else, please do check in so we know you're ok.

Mother Nature has certainly made herself felt this past year, huh? Very frightening and very sad.
