I have no problems meeting earlier, so it is up to everyone else, on time...
I know some can't meet till later, others want to meet earlier, so
lets all figure it out, 1, 2, 12, 11, pick a time, if you can't make it that early, surely we will be sitting at a restaurant for a while anyway....

Being lucky enough to have *converged* with 6 other LCE members this past March, I can tell you, it was one of the most awesome things I've ever done!!!

I hope we can have a good turnout. And I hope I remember my camera! I think some of us are going to meet earlier than 3 so we have some extra time to visit, then as everyone else can make it, we can at least get to meet them before we have to leave. Wow, this is like going to a reunion or a convention....so many different people all coming to a common place to share a common interest. I'm excited.

Sorry about my inbox, ya'll. (Shelley, that's a Texas term!) I didn't realize I had so many messages stored, so I went in and cleaned it out. Now.....if I could just do that to this office! LOL!

I am going to try to get there about 1:30 ish and let the restaurant that
there are x number of people coming,

We'll be leaving here around 12:30, and will probably get there around 2:30, we think. We might be a little earlier, or a little later. We're not sure exactly how long the drive is with the route we'll be taking. We'll be going through a lot of small towns.

It will be my husband and I. We're looking forward to meeting everyone.

I'll plan to leave here by 11:00. The mapping-thingy shows it to be 94.7 miles, and 1 hour and 54 minutes. Yeah, if I don't have to stop and pee! LOL!

So, I should be there by 1:30 also. I have a 35mm camera that takes nice pictures....does anyone have anything more modern? LOL! I can have the pix delveloped on a CD and try to post them here.

I'll just bring it anyway....there couldn't be too many pictures.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, too. It seemed so far away at one time and now it's almost here.....less than 24 hours away now!

Please be careful, everyone. We all know that Texas drivers (except all of us, of course) are not known for their carefulness!

I'm afraid that I'm going to have to miss this one. Gas prices just went up again, and I can't afford the gas to come :( Hopefully we'll plan another one in the near future and I can get to that one.

We have a digital camera, so we can take pictures and probably post them when we get home. It's not a high-tech camera, but adequate.

Oh, Katie.....I wish you could come, but I understand. :(

DH and I discussed this on the way to the wedding we went to tonight. It was his boss's only daughter. DH is the general manager of all the stores, so he "had to" go. We went, saw the dad, signed the guestbook, sat throught the ceremony (while I silently screamed: "Don't do it!"), then went home. For that, we probably spent over $9.00 on gas plus $3.00 to park. Just to "check in" at an obligatory wedding, and he didn't even want to go to the reception....even for the free food.

I am also considering taking a job that pays less, just so I can be closer to home...it may be worth it just for the gas savings alone. Much less for wear and tear on the car.

We'll miss ya!

anyway, oh I might have just miss read that...
will be heading out of house around noonish.
am going to call restaurant to set up our table...
ravalon,, queen mama, maxi and I (plus 3 spouses)
makes a count of 7 by my looks.... unfortunately no felone,....
can understand that gas is getting up there again..
