We have a big-screen TV but I was just in the other room - where I could still see it - when Clay came on. It took me a couple moments to realize that's who it was! Wow, what a different appearance!

I thought the overall show was very well done and very entertaining. They sure can get some NAMES to come on there. Not impressed with the "stars" though. They all seemed to be having an off night. Just as well, the IDOL CONTESTANTS were the ones I wanted to see!

Cute skits, cool that Taylor and Kat each got a shiny new Mustang convertible, and I wasn't disappointed with the outcome, although I too prefer Kat's style to Taylor's.

Boy the gals were something in those red dresses/jewels weren't they? Especially enjoyed Mandisa and Paris!

Oh I forgot to comment on a couple things.

My darn DVR cut of right after Taylor was named as the Idol and everyone was cheering so I missed his last performance adn I'm really mad becasue I sa part on the news this morning and could cry because I wanted to see it.

Also, I thought Clay looked REALLY good. I like him better with long hair though he did remind me slightly or Garth Brooks alter ego from a few years back...Chris something. I like the dark hair on him, yes I think the bangs were a hair too long but I loved his performance.

I also wasn't thrilled they brought up all the bad performers again. Though the cowboys did do better this time around. I know they do it to themselves but I don't think they needed to be humiliated yet again. That girl in the tube top, well she's just looking for attention, very sad.

I'm looking forward to Taylor's album and I may even go to the Idols concert when they come through town since I liked so many of them.
