Oldies, 50s and 60s, Big Band and Swing, Classical, some Opera, Jazz and Blues, Celtic, Folk, and sometimes I listen to oldies in French, just because it's fun, even though I don't understand what they are singing. I also like Oldies from England, catch all that on Live365 on the net. Can't stand country or hip hop/rap.

Depending on my mood, I like to listen to any kind of music. For the Gym I love to listen to fast paced Hard Rock or newer music. I'm not fond of C&W or Rap but have even found many songs there that I like as well. I just got an MP3 player for the gym. I have over 30 CDs on it. It is funny... I have it set to shuffle so I could be listening to Crystal Method one song then it switches to Anne Lennox, The Doors or Fleetwood Mac or even something really strange like Radiohead. See, I have very varied tastes.

Country, Southern Rock, Classic Rock, Big Band, Swing, Soul, Blues, Jazz, Top 40 (if I'm in the right mood), Disco... I love almost everything. I don't care much for New Age, and some Alternative Rock sets my teeth on edge, but other than that... I just love music

Rock, hard rock, metal (older metal). Also pretty much everything except country and rap, with some exceptions. I've played guitar for years, so I'm all over the place.

I pushed myself into jazz about a year ago. For some reason I love Coltrane and nothing else.

In the folk realm, there's the obvious dylan nob, but I love Nick Drake.

In the general realm I'd go with Neil Young. I hear there's a documentary coming out sometime soon.

I learned blues when I started playing guitar, and got into it a little. Paid through the nose to see Buddy Guy play with John Mayer at the end of '03. That was a good show.

I don't like to admit it, but in the harder realm I was into Maiden in my younger days, and for some reason I really got into Dio in the past year or 2. Don't ask me why. Rainbow, Sabbath, and solo Dio. I'm in a band and I've switched my listening habits to support the style of music we're playing. I think I like Dio because he's ridiculous. He's going to be in the new Tenacious D movie (the faux band that made Jack Black famous). Also, if you've never heard "The D", please check them out...

Only if you like that sort of thing, of course.

I just got sattelite radio a few weeks ago. I'd highly suggest picking that up if you're a music fan.

Hi, Kev. Our Direct TV got satellite radio on our lineup. It's got some great stations. When we are reading we like the classical pops. I can't read when music is playing that I know the words to. That's what goes through my head, instead of what I'm reading. When I'm traveling I like to put in a cd of arias, and even though I don't know the words, I make them up and sing along. (Except for those really high notes!)

We don't travel enough to justify satellite radio in our car. It's like 1 1/2 miles to work, 3 miles to go across town to WalMart, and that's the far south end of town, and we're clear at the north end of town. Lot's of traveling, eh? Some country is ok, but most of it just gives me a headache.

Wow, what a loaded question! I like "mainly" most country, but some of it gives me a headache, too! I don't like "Classic" old-timey country, usually the top-40 more progressive.

I have CD's and tapes including Alabama, Hootie and the Blowfish, George Strait, Whitney Houston, Elton John, the Eagles, Rascal Flatts, Mila Mason, REO Speedwagon, Carlos Santana, Alan Jackson, Big and Rich, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, the Dixie Chicks, Lenny Kravitz, Gwen Stefani, Lionel Richie, and Chicago, just to name a few. I don't listen to them much.....I am usually tuned into talk radio.

Looking at my list....boy, am I all over the place! LOL!

Gospel music is at the top of my list, but if it isn't available I listen to classical, and sometimes easy Jazz if I'm out of town.. cant get it here.I like the oldies, and the big band music also.
