| We are seriously thinking of dropping our standard phone and going to an internet phone service. I'm looking for feedback from those that have or had the service. So far I've heard about Vonage and SunRocket. SunRocket seems really really cheap! ($200/Yr for 2 lines) I would have liked to go with my local Cable provider but they were more than my land line. ![]() I welcome any help I can get with this decision. Thanks Very Much, Tom.

| I have a Vonage line I use for work, in conjunction with DSL from my phone company. I have had no serious problems with it at all. Very easy to hook up (the adapter was free with a rebate) and very easy to set up the account. Several of my co-workers also have Vonage, and occasionally when we are talking, the audio is a little choppy. If you go to vonage.com and look under their help section, they have some information about this. It's not a big deal, just irritating when it happens. None of us has ever experienced dropped calls, although obviously if your Internet connection went down while you were using Vonage, your call would be terminated. Overall, we're all pretty happy with it and I'm thinking seriously of switching to it for my home line. I'd probably have switched by now if I could keep my same number, which some people can do, but I'm in an area where I can't. Aderyn |
