What a sweet little face.

You ought to look into those mugs I got at Shutterfly - that would be SOOOOO cute on a mug!

I just ordered up 2 mugs for Mom with her toy poodle, Cherie, on them.

Here she is:

She's 12 years old and weighs 6 pounds!

*L* tooooooooo cute.
yeppers! the mugs are great! my brother in law used to have the mugs and a kiln.
sometimes state fairs will do them too! i had a couple made several years ago..

i also have mugs that you can slip different pictures in them when you want.. (i have never switched them.. one has pics of me with my mom and my sister with my mom.. the other has pictures of my three kids school pics from grade school... )

anywho.. we left him behind, because we only had had him a few weeks... he stayed with his MOMMA and sister (the lady we bought him from kept him for us , friend of my daughter1's)
we were driving from idaho to oregon coast, then to montana, wyoming, south dakota, nebraska, kansas and back ... we didnt want to make our poor pets suffer that long of a trip..

(we also have two cockateils, a beta fish, a cat and three kittens, the puppy and another dog that we adopted last year while in alaska..)

we DID think of taking our motor home with us and taking the dogs for sure... but moon changed his mind .

WHOA, can't say that I blame him! LOL!

That's quite the menagerie, girlfriend. I'd have something similar if it weren't for the fact that we'd like to start taking some ROAD TRIPS which right now, we can't do because Lucky, the 19 YO cat, needs thyroid meds twice a day and I don't want to trust anyone else to have to do that, PLUS she hates strangers. No way my Mom could do it. So there ya are, we're stuck for now. Not that I'm trying to hurry the old girl out - no, no way! We love our Lucky cat. But WHEN she is gone - we will do a little traveling, so no more pets for a bit. BUT after THAT - watch out!

well... its not like we PLANNED the farm *L*
we had ONE bird...
we had NO dog..
we had NO cats
we had NO fish

got the bird, then had a bazillion parakeets... got rid of them, got the other cockateil when we returned from the trip.
moon got the first dog from a radio show in alaska, they flew the ugly little mutt in (good thing! i wanted a tiny lap dog.. they misrepresented this one ! he wasnt 6 or 7lbs.. but SIXTEEN! ) ANYWHO... the dog was so sweet we kept it..

the FISH my daughter1 gave me as a gift...

the cat was a neighbors (that strayed and they didnt want back!)she has had a bazillion litters of kittens over the years...
they all seem to find new homes, but she never does..
(so far, the three that were born when we were on vacation are still here )

the PUPPY was a gift from moon to make up for the one he THOUGHT the alaska pup was going to be *L*

normally... my two daughters are here and THEY take care of any pets while we are gone..but i didnt know for SURE they would be around the whole three weeks.. so we made other arrangements..
i can see where it would be QUITE liberating to NOT have a pet tho..

Oh, Kim! Your pup is just precious. And the good thing is: even fully grown, those never get TOO big! Here's another cute pet pic:

Kim - adorable! It's always nice to have 2 dogs (or cats) to keep each other company. Just keep em away from my clumsy oaf 65 pound Pup. LOL

What adorable pictures! I inherited yet another cat yesterday from my cousin who could no longer keep him due to failing health issues....... that make FOUR cats in my household and two dogs, a bird and tropical fish in two of my rooms..... feeding time takes forever, but I do so love all my children.... I didn't need another animal, but couldn't say NO since she was going to have to put him down due to his age (10) and no one wanted a cat that old...... sad, but true.... Anyway, he will be most loved here with me. Thanks for sharing your pictures!

One of my pond fish is named Thor. When I got him, he had a black marking on his back that looked like a hammer. The marking has gone completely away as he's grown up, so it's not such an appropriate name any more. My current pond fish:

Big Red (aka Ssuupperr Red) - huge 8+ ", white with a red cape over his head and back)
Thor - medium size 4", orange with a pale belly
Frill - medium small a bit under 4", orange with a black edging on his tail fin
Mr. Lister - medium big 5" - white with red cheek spots and a red cap
Cheech and Chong - medium small 3", multi colored with fan tails
Chinstrap - small 2", white with red head and a red stripe going around his chin
Archie - small 2" - white with red head and an orange arc on his tail fin

I'll try to post some pictures of some of them, if I can ever get any decent shots.

Okay let's see if I have another cute one of Stinkerbell.....I have a TON of other cute pet pix, but like Rob (I saved that one off another post of yours, Rob!) they are not my pets. Cute, anyway!

Here's one where Tinky sees a bug on the ceiling.....doesn't she look like an upside-down skunk? LOL!
