Thread: Any Young & the Restless fans????

I remember being 8 years old and my mother watched Y&R and I loved it back in the day and last year while I was getting my nails done the nail tech had it on and that was all it took, one episode and I was doomed and with TIVO I knew that no matter what I would have the show taped and could watch it at my leisure. Like I said that was last year and if for some reason I don't catch the show in the afternoon for some reason it doesn't tape ( like oh we have a power outage and get 3 feet of snow in October...like we did last week!!!!!! Power is still out for some 120,000 folks!!! ) they I can tape it on the SOAP network. My beau (fiance) is a closet Y&R junkie...shhhh

So I would love to chat about the show....Drew and Neil, Carmen,.... Nick and Phyliss...Sharon and Jack,,,,,Lauren and Michael....Ashley and Bardwell..or Gloria or Jill for the matter..Brad & Vickie..Devon...I could go on & on....

The old cast is still basic story line, a few new people here and there because the kids grow up and somebody pops in from where, but the mustache (Victor) Nikki, Nicholas, Sharon, Drew Neil everyone from 10 plus years ago are still on the show. It is the most popular daytime soap watched.

I watch Y & R every night. I DVR it during the day. I got back into it becuase I watched it on SoapNet a few times. Same with Days.

I never watched during the whole Devon introduction or much of Lily's story with Kevin. I knew what was happening from teh mags but becuasse of that I have no inbterest in those characters. Although I was relly annoyed with the new Lily because she was such a terrible actress. Though she has grown a lot over the last few months. She did bring a more innocent feel to the character but now they are going back to the other Lily.

I am liking that they made Jack back into the evil man that he always has been. When he was trying to be high and mighty about Phyllis I kept screaming at him in my head "you slept with your father's wife! Who are you to judge anyone on their morals?" I just wish they'd bring the old Victoria back since she's free of OLTL now. I have never liked this girl as Victoria. Just one of those things I'll never get use to, like if they changed Nick. I'd just hate him I'm sure.
