Last night was the first night I fast forwarded through a small part of BL, but I was annoyed. I think my lingering head cold has made me bitter, lol. So I stopped and went back and watched a little of what I'd scanned through.

I don't like that one girl already. I rewound it to catch her name when she said that the other team was full of really fat people that had more fat on them and her team came in weighing more and then lost. I'm partial to Bob of course so I have a general bias towards blue. But I haven't picked my favs yet. Although the 62 year old and the asian girl that kicked butt have impressed me. (I don't remember anyone's name at this point and don't feel like looking them up, lol)

This year is the heaviest group yet. I think the producers realize people want to see more dramatic transformations.

Gillians workout for these big people always scare me, like she's gonna kill one of them some day. But I know they really take care to go over medical issues and have plenty of docs on hand (look at the staff on the web site and you'll see them).

Thumbs up Re: Biggest Loser

moved to tears yet again, the reunion had me crying and this show had me in tears.
I just have been there and I know where they are all coming from. I was happy to see the black team have a fair chance.
If I were on the show though, I have to say that I would want the male trainer more than the others.

I loved last night's show.
Like Ms. Noel I don't know anyone's names yet.
Loved the new host. I always thought that having Carolyn Rae (is that her name?) on it was kind of ironic because she looked like she could have used some of the nutrition and diet help also. This is not meant as a snarky comment, just thought she was an interesting fit.
I liked the 62 year old man who lost 30+ pounds. He seems like a really nice person. I liked that he worked so hard and was surprised and teary eyed at his loss. He also seems to genuinely want to help the others on his team too.
Gillian scares the heck out of me. I too wondered if what she was doing was dangerous. But I think that I liked her pushing them mentally as well. Saying, prove you are good enough. It really ramps people up to give their best.
Can't wait for next week to see everyones reactions to the third team.

This show gives me so much motivation. Like the rest of you I can't remember the names yet but the 62 year old man just kicks butt. He was so sure he would be left behind in the race and then he ends up winning. Good for him. It should be interesting to see what happens once they bring in the black team.

As for the diet coke...didn't they say if you were going to drink it to make sure it was decaf diet coke or it would make you retain water? I used to drink diet coke from 8 in the morning until 11 at night....I bet I drank a dozen a day. Now I'm just down to 2...so I think that's a huge difference. Maybe one of these days I'll be able to kick the habit. One thing at a time.

LOL, Tia. Yeah,,, one thing at a time.

I'm mad at myself because I forgot it was on and forgot to set my VCR (yes, still no DVR here) to record it. I have an Adult Ed knitting class on Tues nights, so I'd better remember or I'm going to miss it every week!

Sorry, did you get filled in with what you wanted from the show you missed? I'm so sorry I didn't answer sooner. Sounds like Noel and I have the same but. This sinus infection is killing my head and leaving me nauseous. Can't wait until Tuesday!! I love this show!

Mab, someone last year mentioned the same about Carolyn Rhea. I like Alison too.

I was so happy to see miss bad attitude go. Lezlie may not have had the worst attitude when it came to working out but she was 2nd worst and the worst as far as attitude towards others.

I hope the girl that got a second chance uses it and gets busy kickin butt.

i am with you. i hope that the other girl who stayed will now use the opportunity she was given and not waste it. i am afraid that she will think she can continue to manipulate her way out of any situation.

The girl that was voted off this week looked so great on her follow up! I can't wait to see how she looks at the finale.

OOOOOOOOOOOh you guys! One day until the show airs this week. I'm really looking forward to Tuesday. I'm off from weight training that day and plan on hitting the treadmill. My sister walked last week during the show as well so can't have little sis show me up. I know many of you are blue and red fans (Bob and Kim are amazing!) but I have to say that I'm rebelling and going with the black. That Jillian kicks butt and doesn't care for your name, lol. It would motivate me to have her yelling at me. I'd end up getting upset and then working my frustrations off.

Maybe Jillian, Kim and Bob should do a show for wanna be body builders. Their muscles are huge!

i'm with you. i love jillian too. i do like the way the black team is like rebels! i think it is very motivating for them to feel like they have something to prove. and after last night's show it proves they are a force to be reconded with!

i was sorry to see the older gent go. he was really motivated and had good energy.

I would have voted the one guy off that's only lost 28 pounds (only, lol) not Neil or Jerry. Little whats her name has lost a huge percentage so I don't know why they were even considering her. That guy lost a lower percentage. But I think they were scared of Jerry being hurt. And if he got well they were scared of him period. And they should have been. He looked AWESOME! Can't wait to see him in the finale.

Oh, I couldn't have Gillian as a trainer. I think she's great but had too much of my father yelling at me to lose weight as a child and I'd tuned her out too quickly. bob and Kim are more my style. And more Bob of course because I'm partial to him, always have been. He seems so mellow like he loves you into losing weight.

I think that was crap that Jerry got voted off. He looks amazing now in his after picture, but he looked so hurt. There were others that should have gone before him. This show really can get me riled up. lol You should have seen me flipping back and forth between Biggest Loser and Dancing with the Stars. Dh finally gave up and read his newspaper. lol
