    Default Christmas weather??

So how's the day it's self shaping up to be for you in your area of the world??
Here we are expecting a hot one, probably 33 C plus. We'll probably head down the beach after christmas lunch and a sizable snooze. I'm only a block from the beach so it's a short stroll.

One of my wishes in life is to spend thanksgiving and christmas in the snow. My hubby is from Seattle and his family used to spend a lot of time in Montana. Since the only snow we get is on a couple of small mountains in Victoria my wish isn't going to come true just yet. When the kids get a little bigger we may have the funds to travel.

Em, we are going to our son's for Christmas. He now lives just outside of Cleveland, Ohio (he moved there from Tampa, Florida). So instead of Florida sunshine and the temptation to play golf, when I am not playing with the grandkids, I will probably play in the snow with them.

Winter weather here in Hooterville. We just dug out from the last snow/ice storm and finally the weather looks a bit more settled.

we are also recovering from an ice storm that pretty much left a lot of our state in a disaster. Some residents are still without power and it's been 13 days.

We'll be unseasonably warm today (66) and hit the skids tomorrow...falling temps to the 20's with blowing snow; then again on Christmas Eve, and again the day after. The prediction is no significant accumulation, but I've shoveled 11 inches before under the prediction of a *dusting* LOL!

Oh it sounds so lovely and cool. We battle an invasion of bush flies at this time of year as well. Lots of people here have outdoor BBq's with prawns and seafood for chrissy lunch.

I have all the presents wrapped and ready and the turkey in the fridge defrosting, I think I'm going to debone and stuff it for easy carving, now I just have to figure out how...
