    Dear Shelley:

Thank you so very much for the reminder. I, too, am ready for SPRING! Enough ice and snow in our area of America. However, I am sad that I will have to give back that ONE hour that was given to us last year! Sometimes, I wish I lived in Arizona where the time NEVER changes!

Spring is the only good thing to come of this Spring forward situation. I have to get up as early as 5am to babysit during the week so this means 4am. Yikes!! Good thing I'm an early to bed person. lol

This means more light at night, when people should be considering going to bed, and less in the morning, when we need that sunlight to wake up. I wish they'd just leave the time alone!

well, i totally forgot that was coming up. but boy, am i ready for SPRING! so i like the positive twist you took, shell.

i'm not thinking of it as losing an hour...instead, i'm thinking of it as AN HOUR closer to spring! some of my silly perinnials are trying to pop up already. (nobody told them about the crazy weather here...)

For the most part I don't mind the time change so much in the spring. It would make more sense to do DST in the fall though...duh! I mean, an extra hour of light in Nov, Dec and Jan would be awesome!

The time change really messed up our previous cat...especially when she had to wait and EXTRA hour for her dinner! LOL!

Oh well, we'll adapt...then change again, then re-adapt, then....
    the beat goes on....

that's so funny! my kitties get decidedly cranky with me when i'm inconsiderate enough to sleep in, thus delaying their breakfast.
they don't like that one little bit! my little black one comes right up in my face and meows loudly to let me know just how displeased she is with my slacking...

I sure wasn't ready to get up when the alarm rang this morning. DH was dead tired too but I needed to take him to work so I could have the car at church. At his work there was a hawk eating a bird. Boys watched that for a bit before we hit home. Boys like strange things.

Wait until they hit puberty, Heather! LOL!

I sure missed that hour. I was dead tired this afternoon. It takes me weeks to get accustomed to the spring time change. And I can't wake up in the dark, I NEED that sunlight!
