Default Online Shopping for household stuff!

I thought I would ask here if anyone has found a place to shop online for the daily neccesities of life that doesn't charge shipping or is very low cost?

Things I would like to buy online might include laundry supplies, food, cleaners, pet food.

about the only things i buy online are books and low carb products and only occasionally. For books, of course, I use Amazon. For low carb proucts I buy from netrition.
they offer a fixed $4.95 shipping price. So once a year i place a large order and the box must weigh 30 pounds or more. Pretty reasonable for less than $5.

sorry i can't help much either, evie. i get some stuff online, but it's mostly stuff that isn't readily available locally. books, amazon like rob said, and lc stuff, a lot from netrition, plus here and there whoever has what i want.

walmart does have very reasonable shipping, so you might check there to see if they have some of the everyday stuff you need? if i think of anything else, i'll share it...

I appreciate it. I know even if you don't buy pet supplies online like Frontline, Advantage, and heartworm meds, if you will price shop and print out the lowest price for the products you need, then you take it to the vet and now they must honor it legally. I just saved 110 dollars at the vet for my 2 dogs year supply of these products. I saved at least half! I was wondering if anyone knew any good deals.

I do the same with my vet. heartworm pills and flea meds are really expensive otherwise. still not cheap even with a deep discount.

Is this some kind of federal regulation? I'd never heard of it. I do generally get my flea meds for my fur family on line, but didn't know that local suppliers are required to give me the lowest price I can find.

Maggie, I'd have to search that out. All I know is I went online because of the savings was going to order there, but asked my vet to honor the price. If they wouldn't I would have ordered online. I was told by my vet and even another I called that it is legally required of them now to honor the online prices. Is that just for vets? Is it just indiana? Not sure. Just ask your vet to find out.

I figure it might be for other states too. Pricing at my vet was double the price online. Maybe someone is trying to help regulate the price for us.
