I thought it was interesting to see how some of the mayors in various cities/states propose to spend their portion of this huge stimulus package. You can look at it by state, then by city, and you can actually go in and vote for or against the particular item. For example, in my state, Texas, I looked through some of the bigger cities, and many people voted no for things like golf courses and big community centers, but yes on new buildings for fire departments and improving schools.
