| There was a comment in another forum that referenced my sig line so I though it might be a fun topic here to share some of your favorites. The 'Life is not a dress rehearsal' sig is one I use. I adopted it a few years back when I realized that's exactly the way I was living... as if it were a practice run that could be done over....going through the motions of a life that did nothing to satisfy the most elemental part of me. I changed that Here's another sig that I really love: "I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live my life for the sake of another (wo)man nor ask another (wo)man to live for the sake of mine." paraphrased from Ayn Rand Life is NOT a dress rehearsal. 159/148/139 http://www.lowcarbeating.com/lcesupporter.gif |

| Ayn Rand was a profound and early influence on my thinking. I was reading all her books at the same time that I was studying zen. Result: "A is A, and it is what it is." LOL! Made me an objectivist with a sense of cosmic humor. Nowadays they call us libertarians. Maggie 5'1" Atkins since '98 (160) Maintaining nicely (110) Redhead until further notice! |
