| My stomach really hurts right now. I have 2 questions.... 1. What can I have/take to make it feel better? Already took 4 TUMS - still hurts. All I want is some carbs (like crackers) to make it feel better. 2. Do you think it's the coffee? This (my stomach-ache) happened a couple times last week, too. It's either my coffee or my eggs. Sometimes I get a stomach-ache from eggs when I don't cook the yolk all the way. Had 'em over easy this morning. But, I'm thinking maybe it's my coffee (too acidic for my tummy these days?). I drink 3 good-sized mugs of half reg/half decaf (I know, shame on me) with splenda and half & half. Any thoughts/suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks, Debby 206.5/164.5/140? | I can only tell you from experience that my daughter gets a wicked stomach ache from eating eggs, but not every time which is strange. I guess you won't know until you eliminate them for a few days. Victors are really just temporary quitters who then regroup with a vengeance. |

| Thanks, Mona! I'm thinking it is the eggs. It is weird that it doesn't happen all the time. But, I think it only happens when I have fried eggs (although maybe scrambled, too - I'll have to track it). Doesn't seem to happen when I have eggs in a recipe like quiche, though. | Hi Debby. I know what you're feeling. I think it's probably the eggs. I get a feeling that is hard to describe. Not crampy, not like you want to throw up. It hurts just under your breast bone? That's where it is for me, feels almost like someone kicked you in the stomach. I have pretty much eliminated eggs from my diet. It's sad because they are such a mainstay on this WOE. I can eat them when made into Revolution Rolls, I thought I could eat them when they were thoroughly cooked but that proved me wrong as well. I can't even eat egg beaters! I can have one once in a while without it bothering me, but since I don't know what day they'll bother me, I don't eat them. Just lay off them for a while, you may be allergic, that's what I've been told. Karen |
