 Does anyone else find this show terribly addicting? I know this show is for teens, but I love it! I used to watch the old Degrassi reruns on PBS and Showtime, and I'm loving how the new show includes some of the original characters - Spike, Joey Jerimiah, Caitlin, Snake and even Mr. Raditch! If you don't know about this and are a fan of the original Degrassi, you should check it out! 194/179/125 (5'4) And I'm gonna make it this time!  |

| I love it too. One of my professors is doing an anthology on the Degrassi High phenomenon. I have an essay published in it about "spike" I always find it facinating when someone from the US watches the little Canadian show that could. It was such a cult hit back in the 80's. I watched it then and I watch it now. Sad that Snake has cancer though.  It was/is such a real show. For the 1980s that was almost unheard of. Most of the kids were not actors, they were real kids and they dealt with real issues on the show. Love it ~Steph 5'0" 155/146/115 |

| A few of my friends know about Degrassi, but I'm always trying to share the wealth with those who don't. It's kinda hard to explain it to them though...because they're probably picturing Lizzie Maguire or something. From what I read on the web, the episodes I'm watching in the US have already aired in Canada months ago. I've already discovered some MAJOR spoilers. Last week's episode was Sean getting involved with the wrong crowd. Yes, it's terrible that Snake has cancer. I don't remember he and Spike going on a date in the original series, supposedly that happened. 194/179/125 (5'4) And I'm gonna make it this time! |

| No, you didn't ruin it for me about Snake. His cancer was revealed 2 weeks ago. I did read some MAJOR SPOILERS on the web this weekend and it sounds like some crazy things will be happening with Manny. I can't believe I'm 23 and watch teen dramas.
