Sunday the Bears play the Niners (Blech - i can see it already) Pre-season they went 1-3
I hope this isnt how the season is gonna go...and they have a tough schedule this year.

I am ready, but I am without a team. My most recent (and it was a long standing affair) was Minnestota. No, I never lived there. It had to do with being at a football game at U of M when Anthony Carter was in his freshman year. I wound up "following" him from Michigan to the USFL & finally to Minnesota, which team I finally adopted. There were some great years. NFC Central leaders most years, lots of playoffs, a couple of "almost" to the superbowl moments.

... anyway. They never did get a great quarterback, the defense fell apart, AC's retired, Dennis Green's gone and Chris Carter went off to Miami, but then never played much. (I was a Miami fan back in the early 70's when I first came to appreciate football. 'Had a Mercury Morris jersey, I did.)

... sigh ... I just can't get excited without a team. I almost got interested in Buffalo, but then Doug Flutie was gone and he was the main fun thing about that team. I suppose I ought to scout a little or maybe draw straws.

I suffer from pigskin ennui. Don't know the cure.

I used to be a buffalo fan but they botched the superbowl one too many times, now I kinda like the Jets, oh no I said it out loud thewy are DOOMED!!!. Oh well I'll stick to NASCAR for now...

OK, well, we lived in Baltimore for 8 years waiting for a new pro team, so even though we live in WV now, we are definitely RAVENS fans!! They were the team my dh dreamed of...lol!!

But mainly I am a Nitro Wildcats (midget league!!) team fan!! (that counts, right??!!) My 2 oldest boys are playing and are both on the offensive and defensive starting lines!! We're having a blast!!
