Can anyone tell me a good free site where I can store my picture to be able to post it here?

When i needed a hosting site.. i searched and searched for a long time and came up with nothing

a few have used Photoisland - i think they let you have it up for 3 months then the link dies... but i never had luck with it.

one of our moderators son (Alex) was offering to resize and host photos... but I havent seen him in a long time.

I ended up paying for a site *sigh* but then i use it for other things too, not just my LC pics.

one the old board (hopefully we will get those threads back) has a great thread on posting and hosting photos and just how to do it...

but i hope you have luck with Photoisland (at least i hope that is the name of it)

OH.. i forgot to ask... does your ISP let you upload photos? some do.

A lot of ISPs provide web page facilities. I FINALLY set one up tonight. Hey, it only had my avatar and some funky words about being under construction but it is a start. LOL

I used to live in Urbana...my ex was in grad school there. Great town; I was the warehouse accountant for Solo Cup Co. and lived a couple of blocks away.
And, I gotta agree with Terese...what hills?!? I don't remember any, of course now I live near the Catskills, so maybe it's just a comparison thing...

Terese, I do think my ISP does offer a free web page. I guess I am going to have to check it out. I will try Photoisland too.

I am not a computer whizz so hopefully I will be able to get my pic posted.

We don't got no stinkin' hills around here. LOL I have to go other places. Actually, a lot of the hills I have recently done are near Bloomington, IL and I did those on organized century rides. IL State (ISU) is in Bloomington-Normal while the U of IL is in Urbana-Champaign.

When my wife and I got married we first lived on Rainbow View Dr. in Urbana about 10 block from Solo. Yep, you remember correctly...NO HILLS. LOL Well, there is that one hill leading into Monticello but otherwise I have to use interstate overpasses to get any real hills at all.

Hey guys!
I'm back!! I'm sorry for my absence, but business and school have just been overwhelming. I'm also carrying a part-time job at our local Target store.

As far as hosting the pics again, I will see what I can do. My host has puts some limitation on that for the reason of bandwidth.

I will see what I can do, and it's great to see you guy's again. I'll be sure to start posting more and not be so much of a stranger!

Susan,

Add [ img] in front of and [ /img] at the end of your link. Leave out the spaces, though - no spaces anywhere.


Or, in your reply box, hit the button that has a photo on it. Then paste your link (as is) into the box in the drop down from that button.
