VERY cool, Andrea!! I'm so glad you're involved in this effort. When you started on your own low carb diet back in the stone age, could you ever have imagined it would turn into your CAREER and put you in the national spotlight??

And yes, I went and filled in the survey!

Good article. Good to see that you are able to go and make a difference!

I went on the site to fill out the survey. Can someone tell me about Glycerine? There was a question about will you purchase it. I am not sure how this affects our lce.

Blessings,

Carol

Andrea I am SO glad you're going. What a great chance to let all our voices be heard and let the government know how very serious this is.

I look forward to hearing about your experience!!

Carol,
Glycerine is a great product in creams and lotions. You can even buy it in it's pure form and it works wonders on cuts and scapes and chafed skin. HOWEVER, It is NOT good to eat!
Low carb manufacturers use it as a filler in there products and they say it is insoluble like fiber and therefore shouldn't be counted in your carb count. It makes me have potty problems though and I would rather not eat it.

Excellent! I took the survey, too.

Have a good time visiting the "death star", Andrea! Before you leave, remember to re-watch Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, for pointers.

Jen thanks for the explanation. I knew the glycerine was used in some beauty products and some medications but didnt know they put it into our food. Yuck!

Blessings,

Carol
