I'm not sure what I'm looking at, but it sure is beautiful. I can't really see a flower in there, of course I have no idea what a kudzu flower looks like. I've only seen kudzu vine from the highway.

Barb--Thanks for letting me play in your space!
I didn't realize that when you change your avatar, it retroactively changes your previous posts.
Soo.. the current pic is actually kudzu and a setting sun. I'm attaching a pic of an actual kudzu flower, though, hopefully it will show up!

But here's the more common view...kudzu taking over!

Holey Moley!!!!!!! That's amazing. I knew it was becoming a pest, but oh WOW!!! Ya know "they" make a thickener with the root? It's too fiberous for my taste and you have to crush it and sift it. Too much work for me. There's even kudzu growing up in Wisconsin. It doesn't get THAT out of hand. The cold winters probably keep it in check.

I've never been to Georgia, , well almost. I stopped over in Atlanta at the airport to catch another plane down to Florida when my girls were itty bitty. I was travelling alone with a 13 month old and a 3 yrs old. The little one was sick at O'hare, had a fever. I tried to give her Tylenol and she yacked all over the place. Then on the plane in Atlanta, I tried again.........yacked again. We were in our seats by then. A flight attendant was there, johnny on the spot with coffee grounds. As passengers were streaming by to their seats, one woman said to me, "Oh I don't envy you travelling alone with 2 young children." I said, "Oh it hasn't been too bad." Then YACK!!!!!! Then I said, "Until NOW!!!!!" It was sooooooo embarassing. Now I look back at it and laugh. It's a story I love to tell my daughters. Although they've heard it enough, I'm sure they're sick of it. (dang I wish I had a puking smilie right now, how perfect would that be?) LOL

No kidding! That's the state flower, right? I do miss that part of my Georgia drives. It's always been amazing to me how kudzu can take over an entire abandonded parking lot!! Quite a sight!
