I know. The temp in Rochester is in the single digits. Not as bad as you have it, but I am still staying in today.

Yeesh! and I thought I was in the wrong part of NY.

I had a "balmy" minus 8 this am and, thanks to my adding (over adding ) some humidity to this place, had to kick the front door open (Maybe I should post that to the Couch Fauxtato forum ... hmmm?) to let the dog out for his record breaking short potty break.

Blehhhh ....

I also get upset everytime I hear that commercial. Yes it is my fault I am overweight. I am the one who stuffed all of the high carb foods down my mouth and did not exercise. Oh well, I guess they will say anything to sell a product .

Rant on Jackie, it does make you feel warmer .

one thing I notice about those commercials, is they say"eat a sensible diet and exercise" - well dah....we all know those what those sensible diets did to us, and if we were exercising back when we started gaining the weight, we wouldn't be here at this forum.
So, why would you need those diet supplements if you are eating right and exercising????
anyway, I always have to laugh when I see them

"No offense to the casual dieter..."

Yeah right! Aren't these pills something like $153 a bottle!!

Give me a break! If popping a pill could solve all your dieting issues, no one would be overweight. These pills don't do anything for your way of thinking about food, so as soon as you stop taking them, you go right back to your old weight. Plus do we know how healthy they are or aren't for us? NO!

One more thing, you can help stop the release of cortisol, by doing so deep breathing...I think that is still free right?
