Thread: What is the difference , milk and egg protein,and just whites (egg protein)

    I need to know what the difference is and can you use one instead of the other... which is cheapest... thanks a bushel..

    Nutlover, if you are talking about using them in a recipe which calls for one of them specifically--no you really can't substitute. Each type of protein powder has different properties in cooking. If it's one of Sharron's recipes, you can ask her in the Cooking Forum about that particular recipe, but in general they are not interchangeable.
