Just wanted to remind Clay fans that he's singing on Amer. Idol tonight (17th)! I've read that he's supposed to sing Solitaire. His single with The Way and Solitaire just came out yesterday. Wow! His version of Solitaire is REALLY awesome! (jaw dropping awesome!) I just pray that his voice is in top form to sing that tonight. (it has to be to be able to sing it like he does on the cd). In some of his concerts he's had a little problem with his voice being too hoarse to sing some of the high notes. (some concerts it's been fine) I hope with the few days rest his voice has had right now that it's back to normal & not as strained and he'll be able to hit the high notes on this song. I'd love to see him be able to sing it tonight just like he does on this new cd! Have any of you heard his new Solitaire yet?

Yes and his concert last Saturday was great!! I missed him tonight. Did not get home until too late. How did he do?

I think he did really well! You could tell he was nervous this time. (he even laughed & said afterwards that he doesn't usually get nervous anymore performing but when he was waiting to go on this time, he did get nervous; said this place is kind of freaky). As for the performance of the song, I think he did REALLY good on that too. (he SO nailed that long "glory note") He did do a shorter version of the song for the show last night. The song on the cd is slightly over 5 min. long. Although, I think the way he did it on the cd is MUCH better than even the way he sung it last night. The version he did on tv was a little bit lower in key. The way he did the last min. to 1 1/2 min. of the song on the cd made even me drop my jaw. It was lower & a little different for tv last night, but I think he probably changed it somewhat to make sure he could hit the notes due to voice strain because of all of the concerts he's doing right now. So, overall I much prefer the song on the new cd but still think he did GREAT last night!!! Boy, he can sing!!

Haven't bought it yet, but will probably do so soon. My sister went to get one and a couple places were already sold out...

It's selling so fast a lot of places are sold out. (there was one store near here that said that on the first day it was out, they were selling around a cd per minute!) Hopefully the stores will be smart enough to order more! You would think they would've learned by now that his cds sell VERY well! LOL You can also order it on Amazon.com too if you can't find it. I can highly recommend it, although it is rather addictive! LOL Let me know how you like it!
